Produced by Bianka and Daniel Schmitt, who are leading figures in the German natural wine movement, this wine is part of their "FKK" line—a nod to the German Freikörperkultur (Free Body Culture) movement, symbolizing a philosophy of "naked," additive-free winemaking. The 2021 vintage is defined by its high-energy "electric" acidity and cloudy, unfiltered charm. The appearance is a hazy, “neon” pink, with aromas of strawberry, sour cherry and rhubarb. With a light body and bone dry finish, it has a "crunchy" texture with flavors of redcurrant, pomegranate, and a salty, mineral finish. The carbonation is soft and creamy rather than aggressive.
