Coteaux Bourguignons is the appellation for Pinot Noir grown in Burgundy’s broader area — outside the famous villages and premier cru vineyards, but made from the same grape, in the same climate, by a producer committed to natural winemaking. Vincent Paindavoine makes Les Paquiers with the lightness and freshness that Burgundy Pinot Noir is celebrated for, at a fraction of the price of the famous appellations.
Tasting Notes
Light-bodied and luminously red — the classic Burgundy Pinot colour of brilliant ruby. Red cherry, raspberry, light floral notes, and the earthy undertone that Burgundy limestone soils consistently produce. Elegant, bright, and very easy to love. The wine for the table rather than the decanter.
How to Serve
Serve at 14–16°C, perhaps with a brief chill. No decanting needed.
Food Pairing
Chicken, salmon, light pasta, charcuterie, Brie, Chabichou. The great all-purpose red.
