Matchbook Distilling Co. Daytrip Strawberry Amaro is an innovative, fruit-forward amaro produced in Greenport on the North Fork of Long Island, New York. Founded by master distiller Leslie Merinoff-Kwasnieski, Matchbook is known for low-intervention, farm-to-bottle spirits that push the boundaries of tradition. Fermented into strawberry wine, then partially distilled into a strawberry eau-de-vie. The distilled spirit is blended back into the base wine to fortify it.  Ripe, jammy strawberry dominates the front palate, immediately balanced by floral perfume (jasmine and rose), a green herbal lift from the nettle, and a clean, woody-tonic bitter finish from the quassia bark. 19% ABV
