From the mountains of Lebanon, the Mersel vineyard produces low-intervention natural wines using indigenous grape varieties. This skin-contact orange wine — Lebnani Abyad, meaning Lebanese White — is a blend of 150-year-old vine Merwah and young Sauvignon Blanc, both vinified on the skins for 2–3 weeks and then blended together. Merwah is one of Lebanon’s most ancient indigenous white grapes, grown at altitude in the Qannoubine Valley in the north of the country.

The result is a fresh, mildly aromatic wine with aromas of fresh peaches and white flowers. The palate offers juicy yellow plums with moderate acidity — a genuinely refreshing wine that carries the specific character of Lebanese mountain viticulture in every sip.

Why 1 Litre

The 1-litre format means more wine, less glass, and a lower per-glass cost. For a natural orange wine of this quality at this price, pouring generously is the right move.

How to Serve

Serve at 10–12°C. Open 20 minutes before serving to let the aromatics develop.

Food Pairing

Mezze, hummus, tabbouleh, grilled fish, fresh white cheese, kibbeh. The wine of the Lebanese table.
