Located in Torrecuso, in the province of Benevento, Fattoria La Rivolta consists of hilly lands at 300–600 metres above sea level, with unique soils of limestone and clay, in the Taburno DOC — one of the smallest DOCs in the region, home to some of the most picturesque and mountainous vineyards in all of Europe. The Cotroneo family has been farming here for several generations. Paolo Cotroneo launched La Rivolta in 1997 and immediately began organic viticulture, earning ICEA certification in 2001. A family affair including two sisters and a cousin, 29 hectares of hand-harvested vineyards, farmed without chemical treatments.

Falanghina is the signature grape of this area. This indigenous variety is known for its fresh, mineral, perfume and fruit-forward flavour profile.

Tasting Notes

Pale lemon-green. Aromas of ripe pineapple, citrus fruits, and white flowers. Fresh acidity on the palate, medium body, clean and persistent finish. This is Campanian white wine at its most honest and approachable.

How to Serve

Serve cold at 8–10°C. Excellent as an aperitif and equally at home throughout a meal.

Food Pairing

Seafood (grilled fish, clams, mussels), light pasta, vegetarian dishes, soft cheese, caprese salad. The fresh acidity makes it one of the best partners for Mediterranean seafood.
