In Sylvis Malvazija Istarska

In Sylvis Malvazija Istarska is the flagship white wine of the In Sylvis winery, located in the village of Sveti Petar u Šumi. Unlike their "Arbor" series which sees heavy oak influence, this Malvazija is crafted to be a pure, vibrant expression of the most famous Istrian white grape. A brilliant yellow-gold color with subtle greenish hues, this wine offers a classic Istrian bouquet featuring acacia flowers, citrus (grapefruit and orange peel), and ripe stone fruits like apricot and peach. The palate is dry and mineral-forward. The initial burst of fruit is followed by a long, clean finish that often carries the signature slight almond bitterness typical of high-quality Malvazija. This wine is fermented entirely in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperatures to preserve the primary floral and fruity aromas. It does not undergo oak aging.
