Part of Holger Koch’s exciting new line of macerated, sans-soufre wines, this maceration of Pinot Gris is prismatic in the glass and on the palate. Natural German orange wine: skin contact, no sulfur added, aged 7 months in used barrels. The result is something that breaks with conventional German white wine production entirely — a wine with texture, grip, and aromatic complexity that the clean-fermented style never achieves.
Tasting Notes
Dreamlike fruit with crunchy herbaceousness and rolling acidity. Light rosé-orange in colour from the maceration. The skin contact adds a specific grip and aromatic depth that conventional Pinot Gris production removes. A wine of genuine character from an exciting German producer.

Food Pairing
Aged soft cheese, charcuterie, roast pork, Asian cuisine, spiced dishes. The texture and grip handle more than conventional white wine.
