Friend & Farmer Red Wine 2024

The 2024 Friend & Farmer Red (often labeled as Tinto) is a bright, organic Tempranillo designed for maximum drinkability. It is a collaboration between the three Parra brothers (Francisco, Javier, and Luis) and the legendary natural winemaker Juan Antonio Ponce of Bodegas Ponce. The Parra brothers are pioneers in Spanish organic farming, maintaining a self-sustaining ecosystem that includes livestock and vegetable crops. The 2024 vintage is remarkably fresh, steering away from the heavy, oaky style often associated with traditional Spanish Tempranillo: it is "fruit-forward" but bone-dry, offering a clean, mineral finish that reflects the chalky, pebble-covered soils of their Olla del Monte vineyard.
