Domaine Pelaquie CdR Blanc

Domaine Pélaquié Côtes du Rhône Blanc is a standout white wine from the Southern Rhône valley, specifically known for being produced by a family that has been farming the same land since the 16th century. It is "rich and round" but maintains a surprising amount of freshness. Unlike some heavy Southern Rhône whites, Pélaquié uses northern-facing slopes and sandy, limestone soils to keep the acidity crisp and the aromatics focused.The grapes are vinified separately in temperature-controlled tanks and aged on fine lees for 3 to 4 months. This process gives the wine a silky, velvety texture without needing oak. You’ll find lush stone fruit flavors like peach and nectarine, balanced by a savory, almost salty minerality and citrus zest (tangerine peel).
