The Moutard family has been making Champagne for the past four centuries. François Moutard and his two sisters have ventured into Burgundy — a logical expansion given its proximity to Champagne and shared grape varieties. Their approach brings the same discipline and attention to detail: all fruit hand-harvested, gentle pressing, natural fermentations. The wine undergoes lees aging for 8 months, 50% aged in neutral barrels prior to bottling with minimal fining, filtration and sulfur, preserving the character of the vintage.
Tasting Notes
A classic expression of Bourgogne Blanc Chardonnay: aromas of ripe green fruit and lemon zest. Weighty in the mouth with hints of meringue and butter, while holding true to a classic fruit profile. The lees aging adds texture and roundness without heaviness.
How to Serve
Serve at 10–12°C. An excellent everyday white Burgundy at an honest price.
Food Pairing
Roast chicken, fish in cream sauce, soft cheese, risotto, light pasta. The classic Burgundy table.
