Chateau Le Bergey Bourdeaux Red
While many Bordeaux wines are known for being stiff or heavily oaked, Chateau Le Bergey is a "Vin de Soif"—a wine made for drinking and enjoyment rather than long-term cellaring. Produced by the Laurent family at Château L’Escart, this wine is a standout because it brings biodynamic farming to a region often dominated by industrial methods remarkably fresh and "honest" Bordeaux that breaks the stereotype of the region. Because it’s farmed biodynamically and fermented with indigenous yeasts, it has a purity of fruit that is rare at this price point. It leads with crunchy red and black fruits—think black cherry and redcurrant—rounded out by classic Bordeaux earthiness, cedar, and a touch of graphite.
