A blend of Baga and Touriga Nacional — two of Portugal’s most important indigenous red grapes. Baga is the great red grape of Bairaã Litoral, producing wines of high natural acidity and dark fruit that age remarkably; Touriga Nacional is the grape of Port wine, here used in a dry context to add aromatic complexity and structure. Together they produce a wine that is distinctly, confidently Portuguese.
Tasting Notes
The wine offers intense floral notes of black fruits combined with spicy nuances. In the mouth it reveals a velvety texture and elegant balance between acidity and tannins. Medium-bodied and accessible, with genuine Portuguese character.
How to Serve
Serve at 16–17°C. Can be opened and poured immediately or given 20 minutes of air.
Food Pairing
Roast suckling pig (leitão), bacalhau (salt cod) preparations, grilled lamb, cured meats, aged Serra da Estrela cheese. Portuguese food at its best.
