Balart Vi Negre Amfora

Because clay amphorae are porous, they allow the wine to micro-oxygenate and develop a smooth, voluminous texture without absorbing any of the woody, vanilla, or spice flavors that oak barrels typically impart. The result is a incredibly fresh, pure, and "naked" expression of the fruit and the local soil. It features a deep cherry-red color with vibrant purple rims. On the nose, it is highly aromatic with dominant notes of fresh red and black fruits (raspberries, cherries, blackberries), alongside subtle hints of licorice, minerals, and a touch of balsamic freshness.
