Arette Tequila Blanco

Arette 100% Agave Tequila Blanco is a highly respected, "bartender’s favorite" tequila produced at the historic El Llano distillery in the heart of the town of Tequila, Jalisco. Owned by the Orendain family—one of the legendary "founding families" of the industry—Arette is celebrated for its traditional methods and exceptional value. Because it is a "Valley" tequila, it leans toward earthy and herbal notes rather than the fruity/floral profile typical of Highland (Los Altos) tequilas. While cooked agave, fresh-cut grass, and a bright briny/salty air will dominate the nose, you’ll also find hints of citrus (lemon zest) and white pepper. The tequila has a light-to-medium oily texture with a “crunchy" vegetal sweetness followed by black pepper, earthy minerals, and a touch of anise (black licorice).
